Gail Porter is no stranger to charity work, and is currently in training for a triathlon in September with her best mate for the children's Trust Charity. After her early morning training swims and runs across Primrose Hill Gail can be found in Mary's Living and Giving shop, in Primrose Hill helping out several times a week.

In-between doing her voice over work for Nickelodeon, as well as her early morning guest appearances on Sky News and The Wright Stuff on top of being a full time mum to daughter Honey, Gail is doing the stock take and can be seen chatting and laughing with customers who come into the Primrose Hill Charity Shop. But volunteers at the Charity shop were left horrified when they turned up to work at 8.30am on Monday 27th February to find their sign that read 'Home Sweet Home'
had been hacked off by mindless vandals.

TV presenter Gail Porter is one of the newest volunteers regularly helping out in the Primrose Hill shop, she says '"I am quite sure it will be fixed, but the money could be put to much better use than having to replace a missing sign due to some mindless behaviour."

Gail Porter is convinced she would be leading a very shallow, boring life if she wasn't involved in charity. Gail says 'without the balance of doing things for others, I'd probably be leading a horrible life'.

Gail has been working at Mary's Living and Giving Shop, in Regents Park Road for several weeks. Gail is very touched by the Charity Save the children. Gail says ' I am very moved and touched by people and what they have to overcome' Gail says 'charities like Save the Children remind me to just wake up in the morning and be grateful that my own daughter is healthy'
